One of the things I’m passionate about is sharing with you tools that unlock consistent & effective teaching for every student you work with.

That’s why I want you to meet my friend and colleague Dr. Nancy Dome.

Nancy is an expert in helping schools, teachers, and educational leaders ensure school is inclusive for everyone.

While working with school principals throughout California last month, I had a chance to speak with her and I’m thrilled to share our interview with you.

In our interview you’ll learn:

* Why your students’ identities and backgrounds are essential
* How to ensure your classroom is socially inclusive
* What it takes to be a teacher committed to social inclusion
* Actions to support your students’ success

If you’re committed to creating a classroom learning environment that sets each person up for success (I know you are!) this interview is for you. Here’s to the ways you unleash learning for everyone!

I try to encourage my students to decorate the room with their artwork- I’m an SLP with 55+ students and I’m usually in a small
space. I definitely found some new questions to ask “what do you want to do when you “grow up”? and then go and find information
about professionals in their field and have short mini lessons about them.
